LEARNER AUTONOMY AND MOTIVATION, THE COMPARATIVE PREDICTING ROLE ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE PERFORMANCE IN TERTIARY EDUCATION OF BANGLADESH

چکیده
This research paper explores comparative predicting role between learner autonomy and motivation in regard to the English language performance of tertiary education Bangladesh. It sheds some insights on existing teaching learning practices low performances students. On basis study design, data has been collected through survey questionnaire from three different public universities. Findings imply that there exists a strong relationship autonomy, Those students are motivated, found be more autonomous. The findings suggests both have significant positive impact performance. is stronger predicator for comparison Students having autonomous behavior with better achievement than those who reluctant about these aspects. Besides, this recommends pedagogical improvements English.
